Generally on this blog, we focus on skiers so we are long overdue for some exciting news to offer our snowboarding guests at the Chalet at 11˚ East! As of last season, Obergurgl-Hochgurgl boasts the new Quattro Snow Park with 17 obstacles spread over three different lines. Designed by the professional team at QParks, you can find this fantastic addition next to the Bruggenboden lift. The park is a great way to spend a few hours if you are looking to improve your skills or simply for some fun; obstacles, kickers, shred-zones, a 6 meter long rainbow butter box, a dual curved box, lollipop area, tubes and rails are all maintained to the minute.
If you are interested in checking out the Quattro Snow Park you can also download their app which is full of useful information. You’ll find the live status of the park conditions, weather, news, events and more by downloading Quattro Snow Park Obergurgl App – available in the apple app store.
For more information please see the website with photos and the park’s live webcam.
It should also be noted that the park is available for any free-skiers to enjoy as well so don’t feel like you can’t join in the fun just because you don’t have a snowboard! And, if you like this type of thing, make sure you also consider the Hochgurgl Funslope: http://www.obergurgl.com/fun-slope-hochgurg.
We hope to see you soon at the Chalet at 11˚ East.
