Today marks the final day of the 2016-17 ski season. While we are sad to turn in our skis for half a year, it does mean that summer is coming and with it, another opportunity to hike some amazing trails with some of the world’s most breath-taking scenery.

In June, two of the summer-lifts will open for the season, allowing hikers from near and far to experience the beauty of the Ötztal Valley without their skis. This is a great opportunity to see a fascinating panorama of glaciers, 21 peaks over 3000 meters in altitude and incredible views of the Dolomites, Ötztal and Stubai Alps.

Top dining and culinary experiences are also offered during the summer months, including great meals, drinks and wine at 3080 meters above sea level.
