Some of the team at The Chalet at 11 º East Obergurgl are already getting into training for the forthcoming ski season!
This fitness session took place in 15 pods at the Coca-Cola London Eye, which Barry’s Boot Camp hired for a novel charity training session.
The high energy workout – a formula perfected by Barry’s, lasts just 45 minutes, and is according to staff members of The Chalet, an ideal way to get fit and ready for the forthcoming ski season.
Proceeds from this unique fitness training session were donated by Barry’s to the charity “Stand up to Cancer”.
The 2017/2018 ski season was one of the best for snow throughout European resorts for many a year, and early long-term forecasts suggest that 2018/2019 will be just as good
with an El Nino winter predicted. So, don’t delay, get training straight away.
El Nino is caused by the warming of the Pacific Ocean, as water temperatures increase by between 0.5 up to 4 degree over the course of a year. This can have a major impact on weather conditions around the world, resulting in increasing tornadoes in the USA and the bit we skiers and snowboarders like, much colder winters in Europe.
The effects of El Nino are never the same twice, but it does make certain weather patterns more likely.
