Yes it’s only mid-November, but Obergurgl has opened for the ski season to much fanfare!
With 19 of the 25 main lifts already open, its looking like it will be a great year:

And whilst lower resorts at this time of year are depending on artificial snow, we have had huge dumps of fresh powdery snow, so absolutely everywhere is covered!

This year also sees the opening of Obergurgl’s new congress centre – The Obergurgl Carat, which will provide state of the art conference and entertainment space for 600 visitors.
The Chalet at 11º east has undergone a sympathetic external repainting and is in top condition to welcome our guests.
Bear in mind when considering your ski holiday- We are at 1950 metres base level, have short transfers from Innsbruck- 75 minutes, – and are snow assured until end of April at least.
