On the 12th of November the lifts will open and Obergurgl-Hochgurgl will begin the 2015/16 season! The mountain has been coined “the diamond of the alps” and lives up to this name its groomed runs that sit high in the mountains (1,800 – 3080 meters above sea level) with superb snow conditions. 24 ski lifts are spread across the area with lift capacities of up to 40,000 people per hour. At that rate, lift lines are virtually unknown! Obergurgl- Hochgurgl is also known for having diverse terrain for all levels of skiers and snowboarders. For those who enjoy off-piste skiing, the conditions are perfect with powder stashes around every corner. The mountain is a truly magical place; it is time to start planning your ski holiday to the Chalet at 11˚ East!
