Our guests at The Chalet are enjoying the ski in, ski out uncrowded slopes. With a base of 1930 metres, Obergurgl is renowned for its excellent lift system which is virtually queue free, even at the busiest of times. Obergurgl is connected to its satellite village Hochgurgl by a modern 8 person gondola whisking you over the 3.6 km ride in 8 minutes. Both are snow assured from December through April. Hochgurgl is the highest ski resort in Austria .Base level 2150 m, at the top you are at 3000m & it is possible to ski on the glacier in Hochgurgl even in the middle of summer!
